Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What file types do you accept for quoting?

A: We accept STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, Parasolid, DXF, DWG and PDF prints. If you’re unsure, upload what you have and we’ll advise.

Q: What tolerances can you hold?

A: Typical CNC tolerances are dependent on part size and material; for most parts we routinely hold tolerances that meet engineering standards for precision components. Upload your drawing with tolerances and we’ll confirm capability and any special fixturing needs.

Q: Do you supply material certificates and inspection reports?

A: Yes, material certificates (MTC), certificates of conformity and inspection reports are available on request for batch orders and OEM supply contracts.

Q: What are your lead times?

A: Lead times vary by complexity and batch size. For prototypes and one-offs we prioritise fast turnarounds; for production runs we provide a clear schedule in the quote. (We aim to respond to quote requests within 24–48 hours.)

Q: Do you handle surface finishes and plating?

A: Yes, powder coat, hot-dip galvanising, electroplating and anodising are available; we can also arrange bespoke colour matching and specialist finishes.

Q: Can you do on-site installation or assembly?

A: Yes, we handle full assembly, installation and installation coordination for larger projects; contact us to discuss logistics and site constraints.
